Behind every dress is a story of ideas, inspirations and insights. The Making Of video project tells the most authentic aspect of the students' work: from the creative process to the technical challenges, amid discarded drafts, moments of crisis and sudden insights. Interviews and footage in the workshops show the passion, care and determination with which they transform ideas into clothes, giving voice to a choral tale that reveals the true essence of making fashion today.
At Afol Moda, designers, pattern makers and tailors work together on shared projects, helping to create an authentic and engaging narrative that strengthens the bonds between participants. Every voice is listened to and every skill enhanced, resulting in a creative process rich in cross-cultural exchanges, interactions and inspirations. The collections we will present tell different stories: each dress is a messenger, a way to communicate emotions and visions. Through them, we allow ourselves to be transported on a journey made of irreverent volumes and surprising details, layers laden with nostalgia and distant, unexplored worlds.
