Since its establishment in 1941, UEDA College of Fashion has continuously produced top-class fashion creators.
Absorbing the latest techniques and trends from the global fashion industry, the school has walked a path that could be described as synonymous with the history of Japanese fashion itself.
Our mission is to nurture professionals who can thrive in global business settings. We train creators capable of handling not only fashion design, but also the comprehensive production process—from planning fashion goods, shoes, and bags, to manufacturing and sales—equipping them with the skills to manage the entire cycle as true professionals.
Concept collection: This collection emerged from a personal exploration of what it means to be true to oneself. The self is revealed through our relationships with others. We often compare ourselves to those around us—feeling discouraged by our differences or by what we perceive as shortcomings. Rather than denying or glorifying these emotions, this work accepts them as they are. It acknowledges the self in its raw, unfiltered state. By giving form to inner chaos, the collection invites the viewer to witness emotions made visible—worn as they are felt.
