Founded in 2011 in Verona by Elisa Sorrentino, MOODART is the first School of Fashion Communication, Corporate Image, and Events in Italy. The institute stands out for its educational approach that combines theory and practice, so as to offer a multidisciplinary path that enhances the unique qualities of each student.

Thanks to small class sizes and highly specialized courses, MOODART provides a tailor-made training typical of a boutique school, and boasts an employment rate of 91%.

The institute’s philosophy, “Study, learn, experiment, travel, and finally, work,” aims to transform students into competent, independent, and internationally-minded professionals.

Learning is seen as an active process where practice and hands-on experience are fundamental to achieving goals. The faculty, which comprises professionals from different backgrounds, ensures high-quality teaching through interactive lessons, company visits, and meetings with mentors.

MOODART has over 250 students enrolled each year and collaborates with around 200 partner companies, ensuring a complete and distinctive learning experience.

We have decided to present our institution at Fashion Graduate through three projects that reflect the creative maturity of our students. The first project subverts gender expectations by placing the female figure in traditionally male environments. The second celebrates fashion as an ever-evolving stage, where each edition becomes a living work of art that renews trends and fosters innovation. The third explores identity through objects, reaffirming the female and queer body as a tool of power and self-determination. These works embody our educational philosophy, which integrates theory and practice, emphasizing individual creativity and cultural awareness.

At the MOODART booth for Fashion Graduate Italia, we present a selection of projects that fully reflect the theme of awareness, which is the foundation of our educational philosophy. Founded in 2011 in Verona, MOODART is the first Italian school specializing in fashion communication. We promote an approach that integrates theory and practice, with the aim of enhancing each student’s creative potential, guiding them on a journey of personal and professional growth.

The selected projects embody this vision. The first celebrates the contrast between femininity and masculinity, placing a female figure in spaces historically associated with men. This juxtaposition not only highlights the model’s beauty and strength but also subverts gender conventions, imagining a future where women naturally dominate every context. The second project, inspired by Marina Abramović, explores the female and queer body as a tool of power and self-determination, challenging norms and celebrating diversity. The third focuses on fashion’s ability to constantly renew itself, transforming each edition into a unique creative act that redefines the concept of the ephemeral.

These projects represent our students’ awareness of fashion’s trends and cultural dynamics, showcasing their ability to interpret the future of the industry with originality and depth.
