According to a recent research by Confindustria Moda, Textile Fashion Apparel, with 582,571 employees in 66,590 companies, holds a 15% share of Italian manufacturing industry employment.
These estimates look at a wide range of professions, and the need for professional figures related to fine manufacturing in the supply chain appears increasingly urgent. The traditional professions in the sector, those best known-the designer, the visual, the communications manager, the stylist-are with increasing force being joined by those who actually make the fine products characteristic of Made in Italy.
This meeting develops around the definition of these old and new roles at the same time as well as the emergence of professional figures related to merchandising, supply chain and corporate social responsibility through the different observers represented by the speakers.
