The project stems from the will of Italian schools and as such compels reflection on the present, even before the future, of an education system that is committed to responding to the needs of the industry or that perhaps needs to question the needs of young people who will face this world in a completely different landscape.
Schools represent themselves, for ease of communication, through parades and exhibits of their students' project outputs, but before reaching these outcomes, schools need to ask themselves the question of what to do to stimulate in their students the ability to continue to educate themselves throughout their careers. A conference with a provocative but realistic title on the school that isn't there will see Italian (representatives of some Platform schools) and international exponents on a panel to discuss current initiatives, best practices and possible developments.
