The webinar offered by IAAD. Institute of Applied Art and Design under the guidance of lecturer Anna D'Andrea aims to investigate the role of thinking in the context of fashion aesthetics. In particular, attention will be paid to the various stages that constitute the creative process aimed at creating textile prints, starting from inspiration (initial stage), then delving into the importance of concept and visual storytelling (intermediate stage), and finally to the realization of a project (final stage).
The more general questions that will be attempted to be answered are: in fashion, what makes a project unique and original? How is a creative project structured? Is it possible to train creativity to bring new aesthetics to life? All these questions will be guided by concrete examples with a focus on textile design. You will learn to recognize the importance of critical thinking and intuition in defining a distinctive style. The webinar will provide an opportunity for high school students to approach the world of fashion and textile design with a professional and inspired eye.
