The lecture offered by Next Fashion School analyzes how to extrapolate the stylistic focuses of historical periods and influences that have marked Fashion History, declining them as inspiration for contemporary fashion design.
Historically already the costume of various eras has always been the object of interest and inspiration to elaborate the new but in today's times it seems an established practice to bring back a period and its most recognizable coordinates in order to reevaluate and actualize them.
However, there is a need to shine a spotlight on thoughtful evaluation, transformation, and application that are transformed into new stylistic traits, avoiding simplistic standard transpositions.
The lecture will provide examples of analysis, reflection, and creative processes that the market can welcome with positivity and enthusiasm
