The webinar offered by IAAD. Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design under the guidance of the teacher Anna D’Andrea aims at investigating the role of thinking in the context of fashion aesthetics. Specifically, attention will be paid to the various stages that make up the creative process aimed at creating textile prints, starting with inspiration (initial stage), and then delving into the importance of concept and visual storytelling (intermediate stage), and culminating in the realization of a project (final stage). The most general questions that will be attempted to be answered are: in fashion, what makes a project unique and original? How do you structure a creative project? Is it possible to train creativity to bring new aesthetics to life? All these questions will be guided by concrete examples with a focus on textile design. Participants will learn to recognize the importance of critical thinking and intuition in defining a distinctive style. The webinar will provide an opportunity for high school students to approach the world of fashion and textile design with a professional and inspired look.
