What are the useful steps in their design? What are the differences between classical and contemporary styles?
Istituto Secoli is organizing the workshop “Menswear Design,” which aims to answer these and other questions related to the creation of a men's suit by analyzing its different stages of development.
In particular, two styles will be covered during the event: the most current, contemporary trends as opposed to ’classic sartorial art.
Protagonists of the project will be teachers from the School of Fashion who will illustrate the fashion design part, later delving into the pattern making part.
Closing the meeting will be a very short focus on tailoring art with manual tests marked by craftsmanship.
