How are the outfits in a men's collection created? What are the steps and useful tools to create a menswear outfit? To answer these questions and delve into the topic of menswear, Istituto Secoli's workshop will address the different stages of developing a capsule starting with the analysis of a moodboard and the telling of trends and tendencies. Then the design and technical phases of fashion products will be explored. The technical part, in particular, lives today with two souls: one linked to the rediscovery of manual and tailoring arts and one that responds to the world of research and technological innovation. 3D digital prototyping is impacting not only at the creative level but also at the productive level, giving rise to new professions and changing some of the industry's paradigms.
