The lecture proposed by Next Fashion School analyzes how to extrapolate the stylistic
focuses of the historical periods and the influences that have marked the History of
Fashion, declining them as inspiration for the design of contemporary fashion design.
Historically, the costume of the various eras has always been an object of interest and
inspiration to develop the new, but in today's times it seems an established practice to
bring back into fashion a specific period with its most recognizable coordinates to re-
evaluate and update them.
However, it is necessary to put the spotlight on evaluation, transformation and reasoned
applications that transform into new stylistic traits, avoiding simplistic standard
transpositions.
The lecture will provide examples of analysis, reflections and creative processes that
the market can welcome with positivity and enthusiasm.
Storicamente già il costume delle varie epoche è sempre stato oggetto di interesse ed ispirazione per elaborare il nuovo ma nei tempi odierni sembra una pratica assodata quella di riportare in auge un periodo e le sue coordinate più riconoscibili per rivalutarle ed attualizzarle.
Occorre puntare però i riflettori su valutazione, trasformazione ed applicazioni ragionate che si trasformano in nuovi tratti stilistici, evitando le semplicistiche trasposizioni standard.
Nella lecture si forniranno esempi di analisi, riflessioni e processi creativi che il mercato possa accogliere con positività ed entusiasmo
