Ferrari Fashion School meets upcycling: a world dedicated to new designers who make recycling a true art form as well as a gesture of respect for the planet. The way of doing sustainable fashion is finally starting to change. One can be creative and arrive at a quality finished product even with the use of existing material, thus counteracting the production of excess textile waste. Upcycling should simply be a more conscious and ethical form of thinking for everyone's future. This mindset marries the philosophy of our project: to create sustainable concepts with only the use of materials that do not impact the environment, giving new light and value to the urban contexts of a crucial city for the fashion system like Milan. With the support of lecturers Riccardo Carrapa and Giusy Liguori, we will discover how to give new life by costumizing one's own vintage piece. The darkest corner of the drawer will be just a memory!
MATERIAL REQUIRED:
An old T-shirt/shirt that has not been used in a long time
