IAAD. – Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design – is one of the most important Higher Education Institutes in Italy and Europe in the field of design.

The Group has 19 schools, 70 campuses, 36000 students, 2600 teachers and an integrated teaching system in 5 languages consisting of about 160 courses divided between the three-year and Masters courses.

The collection, inspired by sustainability and climate change, uses recycled paragliding sails to create transformable outfits that adapt to weather conditions.

Collections

A disordered and unpredictable climate highlights the persistent climate change with disruptive effects. Man reflects on his role and interaction with the environment, sustainability, and the dynamics between nature and artifice. This theme inspired the collection of twenty-five outfits, born from the fusion of artistic expression and sustainability, to raise awareness and stimulate individual commitment. The outfits, made by reusing old paragliding sails, are transformable and adaptable to cope with climate changes. A sound performance amplifies the allure of the garments on the catwalk, engaging the spectator interactively.
