Maria Raffaella Caprioglio, married with two children, a graduate of the University of Padua, at age 23 became the first female executive within the organisation that at the time was known as the Industrialists Association of the province of Venice.

In 1998 she left what had since become Confindustria for Umana, which had just been authorised by the Ministry of Labour to provide temporary staffing services. She became a member of the Board of Directors in 2001, vice chairman in 2007 and chairman in 2012. Maria Raffaella Caprioglio is a member of the Confindustria General Council, in addition to sitting on four technical committees (Organisation, Labour and Industrial Relations, Association Services, and Universities and Business).

She is a member of the General Council of Assolombarda Confindustria of Milan, Monza, Brianza and Lodi, president of the Professional Services for Businesses Section and vice president of the ICT and Services for Businesses Group. She is also Industrial Relations delegate to Confindustria Veneto. She is a member of the President’s Council and General Council of Confindustria Venice Rovigo and a member of the General Council of Confindustria Belluno Dolomites.
She is also a member of the Tertiary Steering Councils of numerous local entities within the Confindustria system.
