Paolo Ferrarini

Italian Correspondant, Cool Hunting

Researcher, teacher and content curator, he focuses on cultural innovation, design, fashion, technology and communication.

After graduating in contemporary art at the University of Bologna he has been researcher for over 15 years at Future Concept Lab, a leading institute in trend forecasting and strategic consulting.

He teaches “Fashion and Industrial Design” at the University of Bologna (Polo di Rimini) and is visiting professor at fashion and design schools in Italy and abroad, including Accademia Costume & Moda, Istituto Marangoni, Domus Academy, Central Saint Martins UAL London, SDA Bocconi and IULM.

Since 2009 he is Italian correspondent for Cool Hunting. He also collaborates with national and international publications such as Vogue Italia and Eye.

He worked with the national Commission for the Promotion of Italian Fashion Culture at MiBAC (Ministry of Artistic and Cultural Heritage) and he was part of the scientific committees of Milano Design Award and Brera Design Days.

Since 2018 he hosts the podcast Parola Progetto.
